STGO Chile

"Küzefest, the first light festival in Santiago de Chile, is an event in which artists, lighting designers, audio-visual specialists and citizens unite to rediscover and enchant the city through light. In this version, video projections of cartography on facades of buildings and light interventions take center stage. The theme of this version is the power of nature." Küzefest is free and open. International
Mapping
Competition

2D and 3D videomapping competition for mapping specialists (artists, designers, animators, design studios, between others.) from all over the world. Where a specialized jury will award the best projects in six different categories. The place of exhibition is in the National Museum of Fine Arts, Forestal Park, Santiago Chile.


Open
Mapping

Intended for all those who are looking for a free exhibition platform. This is focused both on mapping specialists and those who want to make their first exploration into this technique. This activity consists of an exhibition of works that can be videomapping or stillmapping and The place of exhibition is in MAC Forestal Park, Santiago Chile.

The jury of International Mapping Competition in this first version of Küzefest 2017 has knowledge in mapping, digital animation, sound, lighting design and new media arts.

AVA Animation and Visual Arts

Mexican company that specializes in Projection Mapping projects at the international level and Pedro Narvaez with Emma López are its creators.

Leandro Mendes

VJ Vigas

Artist and Brazilian VJ from Santa Catarina. Leandro Mendes is known as VJ Vigas and is already recognized in the videomapping technique in Brazil.

Enrique Rivera

Jury

Researcher, curator and audiovisual director. He is the president of the Corporación Chilena de Video and director of the Biennale of Medial Arts.

Valentina Montero

Jury

Researcher, curator and contemporary art teacher, she specializes in crosses between art, science and technology.

Ricardo Romero

Jury

Currently, academic of the Theater Department of the University of Chile, and teacher in the Mention of Theater Design.

Marcelo Fica

Jury

Advertising, cinema and a degree in Fine Arts. He has participated and has excelled in several international mapping festivals.
